Find a place to fish.
The atlas is a set of complete guides to real waters: the fish you can catch and when, the licence and the rules, where to fish from the bank or a boat, and the exact rigs and knots to do it. One water is done in full so far, with more on the way.
Guides, one at a time
Lac du Bourget
Lough Corrib
Lake Vänern
Lake Norsjø
More waters on the way. The atlas grows one water at a time. A place only gets a pin when its guide is complete: the licence checked, the seasons dated, the spots named and the rigs worked out. That's slower than a list of fifty, and it's the point.
The promise the atlas keeps
The whole trip in one place
The fish and when, the licence and the rules, where to fish, bank versus boat, the rigs, the knots and the kit, all on one guide. You don't open eleven tabs.
A short, shared shopping list, built to your trip
Six rigs cover perch, zander, pike, lavaret and char, chosen so they reuse tackle. One light outfit and a small box of bits cover the lot, and the kit builder trims the list to the fish and methods you pick.
A printable cheat sheet
One page, folded into the tackle box: what's on by month, the licence line, bank or boat, the rigs and the knots. Read it on your phone at the shop and on paper at the water.
Dated, sourced, and straight about the hard parts
Every licence price and season carries the date it was checked and a link to the official source, and the guide says plainly when a water fishes poorly or you'll want a boat.
New water now and then
I add a new place to fish every so often. Leave your email and I'll let you know when there's a new one. Nothing else, no other email.
